Espresso & Vanilla Shake
Sometimes a girl just craves a giant Starbucks mocha frappuccino, ok? But maybe minus the calories…the sugar…the carbs…but still wants it to taste good. Is that too much to ask?! If you’ve followed me for a while on social media, you know by now I am all about recreating my favorite foods into macro-friendly versions, all without sacrificing flavor and taste! This espresso & vanilla shake is a perfect example of just that. And in case you were wondering, yes – this has an extra boost of protein to help preserve those muscle gains! 😉
Ingredients:
- 1/4 C instant espresso
- 1 C vanilla almond milk
- 1/2 scoop vanilla whey protein powder
- 2 TBSP. flax seed
- Cinnamon
- Handful of ice
Directions:
- Blend all ingredients together in a high-speed blender.
- Serve immediately and garnish with a sprinkle of cinnamon.
